An innovative national model for early childhood education, which offers families comprehensive support and resources.

The Infant Welfare Society of Evanston and School District 69 have partnered to establish an innovative national model for early childhood education, which offers families comprehensive support and resources from Prenatal services to 5yrs. Ready For Success graduates enter kindergarten ready to learn on a lifelong path for success. This program was established through generous funding by The Illinois State Board of Education.

Understanding Impact

To ensure every dollar in early prevention services is wisely invested, research partners from six different academic institutions came together to brainstorm how to implement projects that would examine the potential impact when early prevention services could be provided to children and families in District 69.

To engage families, communities, researchers, and advocates in supporting the development of our young children and ensuring they have the tools to succeed and thrive.

Our Plan

  1. Enroll children in high-quality early education programs.

  2. Engage families and communities in ways that support healthy, engaged relationships.

  3. Share the impact of early learning on lifelong wellbeing.

  4. Understand how to best support children, families, schools and communities through thoughtful, collaborative research.

  5. Inspire advocates to disseminate lessons learned broadly.
